WIMBLEDON, WINSTON CHURCHILL’S WAR ROOM, BUCKINGHAM PALACE!
Up early once again and off to the train station with the final destination of WIMBLEDON! The walk from the train station to Wimbledon was through a delightful town called Southfields.
After the tour we ate lunch in the quaint town at yet another English pub with delicious food and then ventured back to the train station!
It was AMAZING! OMGoodness, what a treasure of information! If you ever have the chance to go, all five of us recommend it highly! Have I mentioned that the weather was PERFECTION? The sky was bright blue and the sun was shining bright! I just had to take yet another photo of Benny in the sunshine!
Our time in London was nearing an end, so we headed directly to yet another must see: BUCKINGHAM PALACE! Oh, what a gorgeous day to walk around the palace grounds! We wanted to go to Whitehall to see the Changing of the Guards, however, we literally ran out of time!
Patte, Mike and Michael headed back to our flat after stopping for dinner. Oh, and while on the way back, they just so happened to bump into some old friends on Abbey Road.
John and I were there in spirit, as they were old friends of ours as well!
We had taken the train to Chiswick to have drinks with an old boss of John’s and his wife at their beautiful home! It was the perfect ending to a wonderful day!
Good Night, London!

Wahoo! Fun! Fun!
