EDINBURGH CASTLE, JOHNNY WALKER WHISKEY EXPERIENCE AND THE UNIVERSITY OF EDINBURGH!
We were castle bound this morning in Edinburgh! We took an Uber as far as the Uber could take us and then walked the rest of the way up! Believe me, there were quite a lot of amazing buildings to look at as we meandered up the hill to the castle. It was brisk out, but I was quite comfy in my long underwear, multiple layers, and gloves! We all picked out shops we would like to visit when the tour was over. It didn’t surprise Patte or me that Mike and John chose this shop! As we stood in line facing the castle, this was what was behind us. Set up was going on for the Royal Military Tattoo (a bagpipe competition of some sort). What a backdrop the castle would make for a music competition! We entered the castle and, of course, the photo taking began in earnest! Mike began thinking about retiring from retirement and taking up cannon shooting. The only problem would be the loading of ammunition into the cannon as each cannonball weighed around 350 pounds. ...
